Male hospitalized after being shot in leg

One male is in hospital and a second male is in custody after a shooting near Finch Avenue West and Albion Road on Monday night.
Toronto police said a male victim, believed to be in his late teens, was shot in the leg on Orpington Crescent.
The victim was transported to hospital, where he was receiving treated for non-life-threatening injuries. He remains in hospital.
Police said a male was arrested.
Charges haven't been laid.



Man not co-operating after being shot in leg

An 18-year-old man is recovering after he was shot in the leg in Etobicoke late Wednesday night.
Toronto police said the shooting occurred on Windsor Road, near Dixon Road and Kipling Avenue, at about 11 p.m.
Police believe only one shot was fired at the victim, who was transported to a local hospital and treated for the gunshot wound.
The bullet went through the victim's leg.
After the shot was fired, the suspects fled in a black Nissan Maxima, police said. No one has been arrested.
Investigators are trying to figure out why the victim was shot and are looking into the possibility that he was targeted.
Their investigation is being hampered a bit, however, because the victim isn't co-operating with officers, police said.
